Hay Production
Production
Our hay is produced from our farm in May and September each year.
Benefits
Horses are hindgut fermenters, meaning they rely on a steady supply of roughage to keep their gut moving and prevent issues like colic or ulcers.
First cut hay is coarser and encourages more chewing and saliva to buffer stomach acid.
Second cut hay is ideal for horses who need more protein or have trouble putting on weight
